Greece

The first week in Greece we stayed on the island Corfu. 2 nights in Benitses at a camp pitch next to a Harbour. 

Next destination was Sidari, beautiful site, under very old trees. 

Sidari is a small touristic village, very popular among the English people. 

Palaiokastritsa is very popular among Asian people 😉, here we stayed one night.

When we were enjoying the sun Dagmara found us😊

Next stop was Melitiei. A camp pitch on a road between the sea and a lake. Nice place, but too many musquito's☹️

Back to the mainland. We took the very from Lefkimmi to Igoumenitsa. You will never guess who we met on the ferry. It was Elvis, he is still a live and kicking😂

Back to the camping where we started our tour in Greece, Depanos. We went by bike to the centre of Igoumenitsa and enjoyed a couple of beers and dinner. Next day we went to Delphi. We found a great camping built on a mountain. Great place with a great view. 

This day we planned to go to the Oracle of Delphi. First a 6 K hike, which took us 2 hours😳

We arrived at the archeological site, but no access to the Oracle of Delphi, too dangerous☹️

Back to the sea😊. Nafpaktos. A very touristic please, especially among Greece people😉

In Vouprasia we found a free camping site next to the beach. Here we stayed 4 nights😀

Then we went to Kyparissia. Jurgen saw a beautifull spot on the sand next to the beach, but the camper was too heavy and we were stuck very solid.😩

Finally we got help from Anthony Quin😀

Next morning we want to continu our trip, but the battery was empty. ☹️ With help from a Dutch couple we started the engine and drove to Kalamata. There we noticed that the battery was still empty😩. I contacted the assurance company, they arranged a truck to pick up our campervan and bring it to a Fiat garage. 

We stayed for 2 nights in an apartment at the camping site. The people of this camping were very nice and helpful. Especially Dimitris. When the campervan was repaired (new battery) he brought us to the garage when the campervan was repaired.

No cooking tonight, we went out for diner😉

And the campervan is repaired😊 

After 5 nights Kalamata we went to Korinthe via Sparta, this road is really beautiful.

The camping pitch near Korinthe was very nice and quiet. 

Up to Athens. Here I stayed at the city camping of Athens. 

Jurgen met his friend Prim in Athens, they stayed in an Airbnb.
